About the examples
Section titled “About the examples”The local wallets and explorer use sample data. Simulated transfers and votes do not move funds. The validator portal’s signed login uses a separate Heartwood devnet identity.
The draft whitepaper describes the intended mainnet. Commands and application guides follow the current source; Protocol design explains the differences.
Key terms
Section titled “Key terms”- Account: an address and its recorded state on one network.
- Wallet: the application you use to work with accounts.
- Profile: a local desktop workspace containing wallet references and preferences.
- Validator: a participant that validates transactions and blocks.
- Proposal: a validator’s standing description of its service and commitments.
- Asset ID: the identity of an asset, independent of its name or ticker.
